We have already finished comprehensive harvest of domestic web resources (domain .cz). The collection of the year 2007 contains 81 300 000 documents (3,6 TB).

Web Cultural Heritage
The one-year project entitled Web Cultural Heritage was finished in September 2006 and the final claim assessment based on the final report and finances was approved by the Commission's financial services.
Culture 2000
Culture 2000 is a Community programme and its main objective is to promote a common cultural area characterised by its cultural diversity and shared cultural heritage.
National Library of the Czech Republic and co-organisers succeeded in obtaining a grant in the programme for the one-year project entitled Web Cultural Heritage (finished on September 2006).

The main aims of the project are the following:
- Analysis of existing methods of selection policy in the North-Western Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, Asia (in particular Japan and China)
- Mapping and analysis of software tools and workflows used for downloading and indexing the Internet resources to digital archive in accordance with proposed selection policies
- New selection criteria proposals based on the performed analyses
- Adopting and adjustment of chosen software tools to European requirements
- Testing the new selection criteria proposals using adopted software tools
